Welcome to my photography webpage. 

My name is Marc Ankenbauer and I have enjoyed photographing that which is around me for many years. I work in Glacier National Park in Montana and travel as much as I can.  These photos document and allow for artistic impression of these travels. I hope you enjoy my work nearly as much as I have enjoyed creating it.

I also have a project called the Waterton-Glacier Lake Jumping Project.  I have been trying to get to and take a dip in every named lake in Waterton and Glacier National Parks. Many of my photos were taken along these journeys.  I have about two years left, having swam in 128 lakes and have 40 left. 

I have used the lake project as a fund raiser for Camp Mak A Dream.  An amazing camp in Montana for children effected by cancer.

In the last few years I have been selling prints and photography gift cards. The photos that I have created cards out of have a (card) written before it.  These images are only in the landscape and wildlife photography sections.  I would be happy to work on an enlargement of any of thse photos also.  If you have any interest in contacting me for business please send emails to marcankenbauerphotography@gmail.com
